DHOOM 3 with Neil Nitin Mukesh and Celina Jaitly?

NEIL NITIN MUKESH and CELINA JAITLEY

NEIL NITIN MUKESH and CELINA JAITLEY

Ok, first things first - Neil Nitin Mukesh and Celina Jaitly haven't been (yet) signed for third in the series of DHOOM series by YRF. However, given an opportunity they may well be the right fit in the next installment of the action/thriller considering some dare devilry they indulged on Saturday evening at an event that was a follow up to the wedding of builder Kanti Govani's nephew.

In a choreographed action packed event, Celina was busy blasting away cars while Neil Nitin Mukesh went a step ahead and put the entire stage on fire.

''All this may sound so adventurous to the audiences but it was extremely dangerous for us on stage'', says Celina, ''There was fire all around and at one point of time the flames were so strong that one of the dancers around me had to pull me back as my hair was about to get caught in fire.''

CHECK OUT: Neil has Preity's company

Extreme heat on the stage didn't help her cause much either?

''It was very hot out there with around 85% humidity and Mumbai sweltering in 35-36 degrees temperature. Moreover, with so much fire on stage I am sure the temperature would have easily crossed 40 degrees at least. Then there were all these stage lights which made it so much more difficult to even breathe'', she adds.

So is she ever getting back into a similar act again?

''Of course yes'', she smiles, ''Action comes naturally to me. Being a daughter of an Army man, I have grown up amidst guns and weapons. You can't take the 'kshatriya' out of me as I will always remain one at heart!''

So, after all this action packed 'masti' and 'dhoom', are Neil and Celina geared up for DHOOM 3?

While Neil just smiles it all away, Celina laughs, ''All I know is that give me a stage like this again and I would love to blow many more cars.''

SREEMATI Celina Jaitley's close shave with death

Celina Jaitley certainly is one lucky gal. Recently on a shoot at Maldives for her south film SREEMATI opposite superstar Upendra, Celina had a close brush with death. It was the camera assistant, whose quick thinking and deft actions pulled her from the jaws of death.

Recalling the incident, Celina says, "I escaped severe injuries by falling into shallow rocky seas from a great height. While shooting, the camera buggy was supposed to go past me while I was standing near an outcrop. But it swung out of control and I toppled, barely managing to grab a buggy rung. I lost my grip on that too but the camera assistant Ram Gopal Mishra grabbed me and that saved me." All of this happened in just a few seconds and it was Celina's good fortune and the camera assistant's sheer presence of mind that saved Celina.

But Celina also has an unshakable belief that those who have the blessings and goodwill of others have nothing to worry about.

We sure agree with you and are grateful for the lucky angel guarding you!

Lissome lass Celina Jaitly is indeed on a roll with numerous films in her kitty lining up for release. Interestingly, all her films have one peculiar thing in common.

CHECK OUT: Celina Jaitly's living her dream

The titles of all her upcoming films are in English. Some of these movies include the Anees Bazmee directed THANK YOU, Neeraj Vora's RUN BHOLA RUN and Subhash Ghai's HELLO DARLING. Also with English titles are her forthcoming movies WILL YOU MARRY ME? and SHOWMAN.

Well Celina, we fervently hope the English mantra works in your favour and spells success at the box office.

Celina Jaitly's living her dream

Celina Jaitly has been signed to endorse a new brand Diya Jewelry, a new segment of Jewelry brand by Gitanjali Group.

The reason the brand decided on Celina was because they have a philosophy 'Born of Dreams' and that's what exactly Celina's life is all about, Celina's life has a story like what dreams are made off, a small town girl wins Miss India Crown and then enters into Bollywood. Every girl cherishes such dream and wishes it to come true. Also, Celina has a very pretty face which was perfect for this campaign wherein they have a sweet girl wandering in her own world of fantasies and fairytales.

Says the actress, "Diya is the next biggest thing in India when it comes to diamond jewelry and in the most exotic beautiful designs I have ever seen. The whole ad campaign is out of this world and surreal. Dabbo brings magic to the pictures, the peacock inspired creation by neeta lulla gives it an ethereal feel. And I, the mannequin, feel like a princess of another world altogether and makeup artist Ojas has done his wonder for the second time again after the proactive international ad campaign."

The Diya campaign is encapsulated in the Diya tagline - 'Born of Dreams'. Thus the imagery of the campaign is very dream-like and ethereal, set against nature and is based on the transformation/ metamorphosis of the beautiful diya woman into a dove / pea cock etc. The photo-shoot is done by Dabbo Ratnani, costume is by Neeta Lulla, hair and make-up is by Ojas Rajani and the creative director is Priya Pardiwala.

Celina's jet setting ways!

Light eyed beauty Celina Jaitly has been on a traveling spree since the past few months. And unfortunately, none of them have been leisure retreats. Celina's next film is the Anees Bazmee's starrer THANK YOU. She was shooting for almost a month in the cool locales of Canada for the film.

Once she wrapped up that schedule, she rushed to South Africa to be a part of MTV's show 'Making the Cut'. She then whizzed to Europe to spend some time with her family. The intense travelling took a toll on her health and she spent the major part of her trip down with a bronchital infection. She was heard confessing that she terribly missed her home and her three dogs in Mumbai.

Celina is finally back in Mumbai but not for very long. In the next few days, she will be leaving for Egypt where she will be a part of the esteemed jury of the Cairo Film Festival. This girl certainly gives the phrase 'Living out of a suitcase' an altogether new meaning!
